The only comment I disagree with you here, is that German? is an "easy" language and that German doesn't have a large vocabulary. We have over 5 ways of saying "the"...just a tiny example of how large the German vocab CAN be, just depends on how much you know. As far as speaking it goes, a lot of English speaking people tend to say the same thing, but then when I hear them speak they sound horrible and just use wrong grammar structure. Easy to learn doesn't mean easy to perfect/execute ;).

I'm German and I see how things are here. The word "multiculturalism" is used over and over but never in the right way. Multiculturalism doesn't mean you have people from other races in your country, it means you have people from all over the world, at even numbers, and they all live together rather harmlessly. A prime example of real multiculturalism is Canada. What she should have stated was that Muslims? need work. Most of, if not all, other immigrants assimilate perfectly.
